Onboarding
Starting in a new working environment is an exciting time and we want to ensure that all employees feel that they are in good hands right from the start.
To ensure that the start at DESY goes as smoothly as possible, we offer employees the following onboarding with a wide range of support services such as:

An induction checklist that clearly summarizes all the important steps for the first few weeks.

A regular Welcome Day in German and English, where new employees can get to know the research center, central contact persons and colleagues from various departments.

The opportunity to be accompanied by a mentor for the first few weeks with lots of tips on everyday life at DESY
Our aim is to provide new team members with the best possible support on their arrival and to make it easier for them to settle in both professionally and personally.
