Well-qualified and highly motivated employees are key to the fulfilment of current and future challenging tasks at DESY. An efficient and respectful cooperation between all employees is a central foundation for quality research performance at DESY.
HR development offers a wide range of tools and measures to support quality support.
We start with an integrative onboarding event, the Welcome Day, and a structured on-the-job training in general. Additionally, we support our employees with various tools such as annual appraisals, network meetings for managers, peer counselling, information events and much more.
We maintain our internal training management system (ISS) and continue to optimize our learning formats in line with technical developments and the requirements of our target groups.
We advise managers and employees on their individual professional and personal development and support them in finding coaches and further training programs. We are also the point of contact for the Helmholtz Academy's programs for managers.
