The compatibility of work and family is an integral part of our organizational culture. DESY supports employees with a wide range of offers to help them combine family commitments and everyday working life.
These include information events - also in English - on topics such as parental leave, parental allowance and childcare, as well as an internal parent mailing list that provides regular information on current developments and offers.
Another focus is on promoting an equal division of care work. With the “Berufundfamilie” audit certificate, we have committed ourselves to clear goals that we are implementing actively.
