The purpose of the JAG database is to electronically record the annual appraisal interview. Conversation content and reasons for not conducting conversations are not recorded.
The data is only visible by the parties involved in the conversation and the responsible employees at V-PE and is automatically deleted after 3 years.

Each employee can log into the database with his/her DESY user name and password at From 1st July each year, employees can see who will conduct the conversation with them in the section “interview overview”. Supervisors can also find an overview of all employees with whom they need to plan a conversation.
